Editorial, Assignment 6, William Hill
For this assignment I took some bounce flash and shot Easter dinner foodstuffs.
Editorial, assignment 5, cake, William Hill
I shot a sponge cake with strawberries and whipped cream topping, and it’s been tinted with food color to make a nice Easter color palette. It was very creamy.
Editorial, Assignment 4, Unagi Salald with Cucumber, William Hill
For today’s editorial shoot I’ve made a Japanese salad of eel (unagi) that’s been grilled, with cucumbers lightly doused in salt, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar dressing.
Editorial, food demo, William Hill
We did a demo where Jerry brought in homemade bread and we made sandwhiches and salads to showcase food shooting. I ate the results afterwards, and the bread was amazing.
Editorial, Assignment 3, Food, Katsudon, William Hill
Another food shoot to show today for editorial, here we have Katsudon. Katsudon is a Japanese dish with pork, rice, egg, and onion. There’s also a broth of fish stock and soy sauce. The pork chop is fried with breading, cooked in the broth with egg, and sliced then presented ontop of rice.
Editorial Food, Assignment 2, Sushi rolls, William Hill
My second assignment for editorial features American style sushi rolls with crab, avocado, and long grain rice all wrapped in nori. A bit of wasabi and ginger on the side for taste.
Editorial food, Assignment 1, Hotpot, William Hill
This is a bit late, but here’s assignment one for my editorial class. Delicious hotpot with noodles, tofu, and strips of beef.
Editorial Assignment 1 Food
This was a photo shoot done in a home studio using tungsten lighting. The food was purchased from Perry Fosters’ BBQ in Warrensburg, Missouri. The wine seen in the background is Zolo 2002. The camera used was a Sony Alpha 200.
Editorial screen capture assigment 1.
Screen capture of Lincoln Barbour’s editorial health and fitness photography. Barbour’s photography is characteristically light, people oriented, and focused on showing life and activity in a positive manner. There seems to be a predisposition towards highly detailed compositions.
Screen capture of Nick Adams’ editorial sports photography. Adams’ sports photography uses limited color ranges in composition, nearly half of them are in black and white. Compositions range from close shots of groups to expansive shots of single subjects.
Screen capture of Editorial Food by photographer Daemon Baizan. Baizan’s food photography uses close compositions, varied color ranges, and exotic subjects.
